Erev Purim – Monday, March 2nd

*Everyone is encouraged to bring non-expired canned fruit to support the Jewish Family Services food pantry, as a way of participating in the mitzvah of matanot le’eviyonim.*

6:30 pm — Welcoming Purim:  Kids’ Celebration: Holy Pandemonium (Social Halls, Courtyard)

The youngest among us are often the first to seek out independence. This off the chain merriment is geared for children 8 and under and their families.  Join us for Purim themed games, songs, and interactive, zany, and abbreviated Megillah chanting!   

7:15 pm — Purim Rules!  Megillah Reading, Schpiel, Megillat Texter — The Whole Schmear! (Sanctuary)

Freedom to Text, Freedom to Eat and Drink in the Sanctuary, Free to Be You & Me (or however you choose to dress and represent!). 

8:45 pm — VIPurim Freedom After Party! (Social Halls)

We’ll celebrate our freedom today with heavy hors d’oeuvres, festive drinks, and a hard chargin’ dance party.

Purim Day – Tuesday, March 3rd

7:00 am — Morning Minyan with Torah and Megillah reading (CAA Chapel)

PURIM SEUDAH AND FREEDOM SONG, A PLAY PERFORMED BY BEIT TESHUVAH

6:00 pm — Mincha, followed by a Festive Purim Meal (Purim Seudah)

7:00 pm – 8:30 pm — FREEDOM SONG performed by Beit Teshuvah. Talkback to follow.  

Through story, song, and honest conversation, this special play explores themes of liberation, struggle, and teshuvah through the lens of addiction, resonating with our transition from Purim to Pesach. 

CAA is honored to convene this presentation of Freedom Song in partnership with Congregation Beth Israel, Temple Beth Shalom, Jewish Family Services, and BBYO (Freedom Song is appropriate for ages 14+).
