Nachat

Bringing the Congregation Agudas Achim (CAA) Shabbat experience a bit closer to residents in Round Rock, Cedar Park, and Georgetown. One Erev Shabbat (Friday evening) each month, CAA offers a satellite musical service with a pot-luck dairy supper in-between Kabbalat Shabbat and Ma’ariv. Singles, families, newcomers, veterans and all friends — we welcome you to join with us for spiritual uplift and joyful prayer!

Location: Brushy Creek Community Center at 16318 Great Oaks Drive (just off FM620) Round Rock, TX.

NACHAT is an acronym for Northern Area CHavurah Austin Texas and refers to “contentment and a happy” feeling as a Hebrew word. CAA plans to welcome Shabbat at Brushy Creek on a monthly basis, usually the 2nd Friday of the month. Our active planning group welcomes volunteers. Rabbi Gail Swedroe leads this service along with a musical ensemble.Let us know if you plan to attend and if you want to get involved: 512-735-8404 or gail.swedroe@caa-austin.org
