More than a century old, Congregation Agudas Achim is thriving in refreshing and innovative ways.
Congregation Agudas Achim (CAA) has strong partnerships with two talented and committed rabbis. Our community is home to over 700 families, couples, and individuals from throughout Central Texas and across the spectrum of Jewish life who all come together to worship, learn and celebrate in a beautiful, sacred space. We live within our budget and we are defying the downward national trends that many synagogues face – attrition and an uncertain future.
Our future is bright! In order to sustain this momentum—and to grow even more vibrant as a center of Jewish life in Central Texas—we will require financial vision that goes beyond yearly dues and annual fundraising campaigns and draws from a robust, long-term endowment. Adopting this model for the generations to come is what we need for our beloved Jewish home. It is also what Rabbi Neil Blumofe dreams of as his legacy after a quarter-century on our bimah.
As part of Rabbi Blumofe’s 25th Anniversary celebration, Congregation Agudas Achim launched an endowment campaign to secure our future. Many members have come forward to make generous contributions that will be transformative for our community, and they are inspiring others to give as well. We ask to you to join us by making a gift as a show of support for our congregation’s sustainability and growth into the future.
At the close of 2023, Congregation Agudas Achim kicked off the CAA General
Endowment Campaign as we came together to honor Rabbi Blumofe’s 25 years of service and leadership. We have raised a substantial portion of our short-term
aspirational goal! We need your support to continue to grow our Endowment Fund.
We are strong and poised for growth to meet our community’s future
growing needs.
