We are excited to celebrate Rabbi Neil Blumofe’s 25 years with Congregation Agudas Achim.
Those who have spent time learning, praying, and connecting in our community know we are not a typical congregation. We have an energy and approach all our own. We are led by a Senior Rabbi who continually rewrites the script for providing spiritual leadership and making connections that have purpose and meaning in a 21st-century congregation,
So, our approach to the NFB25 weekend and the fundraising around it won’t be typical either.
Instead of a formal gala, we are planning a weekend-long celebration anchored by learning, music, and a Sunday night party, all without charge. Rather than seeking sponsorships and table leaders, we plan to launch our endowment campaign during the weekend. The best ways to honor Rabbi Blumofe is by being present and offering your ruach in the moment — and by sustaining and growing our congregation moving forward.
This is what Rabbi Blumofe wants as his legacy.
It’s why we are building a multi-million-dollar endowment to generate ongoing revenue for the congregation. This will ensure our continued success in meeting our community’s current and emerging needs.
