We are a multi-generational group of women who offer support to our religious school, synagogue, and community. With several special interest groups and events ranging from social to community service, we hope to provide you a stronger connection to the CAA family.
Sisterhood Agudas Achim supports our own community through a vast array of programming for the congregants as well as contributing financially to the CAARS (Congregation Agudas Achim Religious school), United Synagogue Youth (USY) and other synagogue projects.
Sisterhood Agudas Achim is a member of the Women’s League for Conservative Judaism, the largest synagogue-based conservative women’s organization in the world. Our mission is to strengthen and unite the women of our congregation and support them in mutual efforts, to understand and perpetuate Conservative Judaism in the home, synagogue, and community and to reinforce our bonds with Israel and Jews worldwide.
Sisterhood wants to involve you in our volunteer network!
We need women for little jobs, big jobs, committee chairs or committee members to donate their time and heart.
Your energy can be used for engaging in connections to our community that can be ongoing, one time only, something that interests you or creation of a brand new project that is calling your name!
Even if you don’t know what where your interests fall, just volunteer! Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.
