Once a month the young, the young at heart, their families and friends are invited to participate in a musical, come-as-you-are, bed-time friendly, intergenerational evening presented by the Young Families Committee. A wonderful chance for grandparents to celebrate together with grandchildren or to make new friends who become family!
Generations Shabbats will meet at 5:45pm on Friday evenings in the sanctuary as we enjoy Shabbat songs and prayers sitting together on the bima. At 6:15ish, we’ll make our way to the social hall for blessings, a light dinner and an art project to connect us to a particular prayer from our service.
The price for dinner is $5 (4-10 years old), $10 (11 years old and up), with a $30 cap per family (family refers to 2 adults and unlimited children under the age of 18). Children under 4 are free. Please be sure to sign up in advance on the CAA website.

Generations Havdalah will meet at 6:30pm on Saturday nights as we welcome in the new week, sing songs, tell stories, and enjoy dessert and a Jewish craft project. Pajamas are highly encouraged!
There is no charge for this program, and reservations on the CAA website are very much appreciated so that we can be sure to have enough supplies for everyone to enjoy.
We are delighted to have Kelly Finkel and Ben Saffer providing musical accompaniment for these services along with our rabbis.
