Tuesday – January 5th, 12th, & 19th @ 7:30 pm
WEEK 1 – WEATHER FUNDAMENTALS: Elements of the weather, the seasons, cold fronts, “blue northers”, precipitation types, weather jargon, ocean temperatures
WEEK 2 – HOW THE WEATHER WORKS: Lightning, thunder, wind, clouds, the jet stream, upper-level lows and highs, weather forecasting, probability of precipitation.
WEEK 3 – STORMS: Thunderstorms, tornadoes, hurricanes, flash floods, El Nino/La Nina
