This year, Purim at Congregation Agudas Achim is going out of this world! Join the Agudas Achim Purim Space Force in-person for an evening of fun fit for everyone ages 0-120!
6:30 pm: Family Fun – Geared towards children 8 and under and their families. We will have musical accompaniment by Ben Saffer and Jennifer Marshall and an interactive abbreviated chanting of the Megillah by Dave Kaplan, joined by Rabbi Neil Blumofe, Rabbi Gail Swedroe and Adra Lustig.
7:30 pm: Full Megillah reading, Megillat Texter and shenanigans for the whole community. All are welcome to celebrate in the CAA sanctuary.
9:00ish pm: Just because the Megillah has been read does not mean the party has to stop! Join us for the Purim afterparty! There will be music, dancing, and celebrations for the whole family.
8:00 am: Join the Congregation Agudas Achim in-person morning minyan for a full Megillah reading.
9:30 am: CAA Young Families and CAARS students are warmly invited to join the Austin Jewish Academy in our sanctuary for a Purim spiel, followed by an engaging chanting of the Megillah by our own Dave Kaplan at 10am. Afterwards, we’ll have some Purim snacks in the CAA back courtyard (around 10:45am).
*Please note: As we are partnering with the AJA for this celebration, all participants over the age of 2 will be required to wear a mask, per their current COVID policy.*
